The future use of energy in heavy duty transport in view of the targeted sector decarbonization

The ART Fuels Forum successfully organized the workshop on “The future use of energy in heavy duty transport in view of the targeted sector decarbonization’ on Thursday 05 November at 16:30 – 18:00 CET. The online event attracted a high number of participants and we would like to thank you all for this!

The session helped to better understand the future use of energy in heavy duty transport and discussed key issues related to the targeted sector decarbonization such as (a) fuel related legislation (relevant to the FQD, RED II and Alternative Fuels Infrastructure Directive, CO2 standard legislation) and (b) the required R&I priority actions to support HDV sector decarbonization. During the panel discussion, vivid exchange of views took place among the Commission representatives from DG ENER, CLIMA and RTD, and the industrial experts (both from the supply and the demand sides).

You can find the presentations of the event here, while the recording of the session can be viewed here.
